Brian j. Adair
President & Founder

Brian was born, raised and currently resides in Mt. Lebanon, PA, a Pittsburgh suburb. As one of seven children, born of depression-era parents, he grew up with the deeply held values of hard work and money management.  Budgeting money in a family of nine was an early lesson in finance. Proudly though, each one of his siblings graduated college because of the determination of his parents to help them succeed. His father was an engineer who eventually started his own company.  His mother founded a home health care agency that Brian operated for 20 years.  Brian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LaRoche College. He then continued his studies at Duquesne University to earn his Master’s degree.  Watching families spend their life savings on  quality care inspired him to help people preserve their hard-earned wealth.

Brian’s groundbreaking vision to protecting and preserving personal wealth paved the way to establish Adair Financial Group in 2004. It is a comprehensive, solutions-driven firm, well known for high standards and business ethics. His client’s needs are addressed in a collaborative fashion by using the client’s advisory team of financial, legal and tax experts, often representing multiple generations of families. Adair Financial Group can handle any case regardless of the complexity and is unique in that the intellectual property is not reserved for just the ultra wealthy client.  He genuinely cares about the well-being of his clients and can proudly say he personally knows them and their families.  “It’s rewarding to know that the services Adair Financial Group provide truly make a difference to the families and generations to come.”

In 2012, the National Senior Market recognized Brian as a “Finalist for Advisor of the Year”.  This accolade was quite an honor considering, Adair Financial Group was less than ten years old and only five advisors were recognized.  In addition, Brian was recently inducted into the “Top of the Table - Million Dollar Round Table” organization.  This elite industry group recognizes top financial services professionals.  His designation as the “Top of the Table” is only awarded to the top 1% of the top 1% of financial professionals – internationally.

A primary focus for Pattie is the divorce arena.  Her investment knowledge and experience is expertly utilized at Adair Financial Group.  Pattie first analyzes a client’s tax returns, as well as investment and financial statements; then enters the financial data into our unique divorce financial planning software, developing an equitable distribution financial strategy.  When warranted, Pattie compiles a “Historical Lifestyle Analysis” (a twelve month audit of all spending sources), often of vital importance if alimony proves to be a factor in divorce proceedings.  She illustrates both the short and long-term effects of all equitable distribution proposals, thus providing the client with an image of the division, not to mention clarity on whether the division truly is equitable.
